Brooklyn Looks Like This

If you find yourself looking for chicken feed in New York City; you don't have much of a choice.  A place in Brooklyn called Hayseed Big City Farm Supply is one of the only choices.  Our chickens were hungry.  We made the trip to another borough on Friday.  Got out of the car and thought we walked into  what seemed like a garden, shop and  gallery. We said to the family sitting in outdoor shed, is this Hayseed Farm Supply?  No that is next door. This is a place for art and non-art.   It didn't matter.  Art and non-art had lots to offer.


 

 I do not recommend growing vegetables in pallets due to the fact that pallets are treated with a wide variety of chemicals to make them last.  It looks cool, but it's NOT cool!
